A New Chapter for Youth Soccer
Established youth teams are joining ACP as we expand our long-term commitment to player development.
We’re excited to welcome new and returning families to the ACP community.
Why ACP?
Player First: Development built around the individual player.
Positive Culture: Competitive, supportive, and team-oriented.
Experienced Coaches: Structured training with clear purpose.
Long-term Pathway: A club designed to grow with players, from youth to adult soccer.
Our Philosophy
We believe development comes first. Winning matters, but the goal is to build better players, better teammates, and confident people who are prepared for the next level — whatever that level may be.
The ACP Pathway
Youth Development → Competitive Soccer → Adult Club Soccer
ACP gives players a place to keep growing as their game evolves — without losing the community they started with.

Yes. Tryouts are the only way to get on an ACP team. They're a great opportunity to test yourself, have fun, and potentially earn a spot on an ACP club team.
-
Come prepared with the basics to have a safe and fun experience:
Two shirts (one Black, one white)
Turf shoes
Water
Shin pads
Gloves (If goalie)
Cleats are okay, but not recommended for thin turf surfaces.
-
Tryout locations can vary. Every upcoming session is announced via WhatsApp after you sign up and get invited.
-
We evaluate tryout participants one session at a time. If team managers find your skill, fitness, and attitude fit for the club, you’ll be invited back for future sessions.
-
Team managers prefer players who exhibit consistency in skill, fitness, and most importantly positive attitude. If you're re-invited, it means we're taking a closer look at you for a potential spot.
-
You will receive upcoming tryout invitations with date, time, and location through our official WhatsApp group after you register.
-
If we haven't reached out to you yet, it means there are no open tryouts at the moment. Keep an eye out for upcoming invitations through WhatsApp.
-
We can't guarantee future availability because we hold tryout sessions on a need-basis, every preseason. We recommend attending multiple tryout sessions to get a feel for the club and give team managers enough opportunities to evaluate your contribution.
-
Tryout sessions happen throughout the year in pre-season periods. There’s at least 4 tryout sessions every pre-season. So there are multiple opportunities to shine and join the club.
-
Depending on availability, we invite a limited number of tryouts to each session.
-
ACP is home to 5 Sunday teams and 3 mid-week teams. Each team roster is evaluated each season. Various roster spots per team can become available depending on managers’ tactical and technical needs.
-
All ACP teams are competitive, but they play across four increasingly challenging divisions in the Los Angeles Municipal Soccer League:
Super Metro (Unforgiving)
Metro (Grueling)
Major (Intense)
Minor (Challenging)
-
ACP Futbol has 8 active teams that play at various leagues and on different days of the week, depending on the season. Learn more about our teams here.

No. We strive to maintain a very high competitive level all year round. If you’re not at that level yet, this mismatch can negatively affect both yours and other members’ experience.
We recommend building up your game/fitness by being the best player at pick up games first, and then signing up for future rounds of are tryouts. Good luck.
