LA Athletic wins 2026 ACP Invitational 7s Tournament
This past Sunday at Mar Vista Recreation Center, we hosted the ACP 2026 Invitational 7s Tournament and it delivered exactly what we hoped for: competitive matches, great energy, and a day that felt bigger than soccer. Huge thank you to every player, coach, supporter, referee, and volunteer who showed up early, competed hard, and kept the futbol culture strong.

LA Athletic put together a complete performance from group play through the knockout rounds and earned the trophy the right way.
🥈 Runner-up: Dogtown Athletic
Dogtown Athletic had a strong run, battled through the bracket, and made the final a real test. Respect.
A full day of futbol
From the opening group matches to penalty kick tie-breakers and a packed elimination round, the day stayed intense. The format rewarded teams who could manage the pace, stay composed late, and finish chances. That mix of urgency and discipline is what makes 7s special.
The bigger win: the community
What stood out most was the spirit: teams competing with edge while still showing respect, families posted up on the sidelines, and a shared feeling that this is becoming a real annual staple. This ACP annual 7s is about building something people want to return to.
