Looking back: A Small ACP Moment Before We Became a Club
ACP Core promotion to LA Muni Super Metro Division
Nine years ago…
before ACP became the organized club we are today, this group moved up to Super Metro.
Back then, we were still AC Palermo. No formal structure. No big system. No long-term roadmap. Just a group of players showing up, competing hard, and building something without fully knowing what it would become.
That moment matters because it captures the early spirit of ACP: committed people, real friendships, competitive soccer, and a belief that the group could keep growing.

Back to the story
Back then, we didn’t have the club infrastructure we have now. We didn’t have proper recruiting, organized leadership, community programming, or a clear development pathway. But we had the foundation: players who cared, leaders who kept pushing, and a team culture strong enough to last.
Looking back, this was more than a promotion. It was part of ACP history.
Moments like this remind us that ACP wasn’t built overnight. It grew from seasons of effort, shared wins, hard games, and people who kept showing up for each other.
Today, ACP Futbol is much more organized, but the heart of the club is still the same: competitive recreational soccer, community, and a place for players to belong.
To everyone who was part of those early years: thank you. You helped build the foundation for what ACP is becoming now.
Here’s to the history behind us — and the club we’re still building. 🍻
